“Nowadays, legal rules tend to grant rights on paper. The problem is the actual delivery of legal protection to those who need it for a price they can afford”.

Juripax believes that modern technology and innovation is the key to continued access to justice.
The Internet is becoming an increasingly important part of our lives. There are numerous disputes that are suited to effective Internet-based dispute-resolution processes. Conflicts that involve routine casuistry are extremely appropriate to benefit from the “power” of the Internet. It allows providers to optimize their service provision. Users will benefit as it provides easier, faster and cheaper access to justice.
Juripax’ goal is to be premier provider of Online Dispute Resolution-models to enhance efficiency in judicial and dispute-resolution processes and create economic value for the public benefit.
Providing free versions of our technology to worldwide users to be introduced to the online dispute-resolution environment, is one way to show our commitment towards promoting the development of cheaper and less costly redress as a public resource.
Based on our objectives, we have distilled a set of principles that we believe are critical for ODR to continue to benefit the public good.
We set out these principles below.
- The Internet is a global public resource that increasingly should provide disputing parties with tools for self-help and self-determination;
- ODR technology and procedures must meet the condition that participants are equal with regard to availability and access to the online medium;
- ODR technology needs to empower participants with control and involvement right from the start;
- Participants must have the ability to tell their side of the story in a secure, neutral and trustworthy environment;
- Transparent processes promote participation, accountability and trust;
- Commercial involvement in the development of ODR is a prerequisite for establishing a balance between commercial goals and public benefit;
There are many different ways of advancing Juripax’ principles. These principles will not come to life on their own. To make solutions to disputes more accessible we need the judicial powers, the government, research institutes and innovative service providers to make our ODR platform open and participatory.
For professional service providers, one basic and very effective way to support Juripax’ vision is to use Juripax E-Suites and other products that embody the principles of our vision.
