Pre-mediation

Enhanced effectiveness through better preparation

Juripax’ own experience and recent studies have shown the importance of streamlined intake and preparation processes.

Intake and preparation processes (also commonly referred to as pre-mediation) are generally held in more-complex and/or high-value disputes, where the complexity and the value of the subject matter sufficiently justify an effective preparation to maximize the effectiveness of the subsequent proceedings. Similarly, these streamlined intake and preparation processes can be applied when to address grievances and complaints at an early stage in an attempt to avoid them escalating into disputes (essentially a dispute is a grievance or complaint that has been rejected in whole or in part).

At approximately 40% lower costs in time and money (compared to traditional meeting-based proceedings), Juripax’ online intake solutions serve to clarify and narrow down disputed issues, convene parties, fine tune procedural elements as well as to better prepare for subsequent proceedings. A well-considered decision regarding the next steps (through assessment of the best and worst alternatives to a negotiated agreement), is also an option.

For neutral- and/or legal-services providers the integration of best practices into a certain area of dispute can result in the optimization and reproducibility of existing procedures (70% to 80% of their cases is routine casuistry).

The content of Juripax’ carefully designed interactive complaint-filing and intake forms, is based on best practices used in this type of claims and/or disputes, which means that the practical experience comprising of known methods and information as well as the relevant legal context (that apply to the jurisdiction in question) are integrated as much as possible into the system.

Besides the standard forms as provided with the standard editions of the Juripax E-Mediation and E-Complaint Suites, Juripax also offers a library of preparation forms specifically designed to accommodate other, generally more-complex, types of complaints or disputes.
